As you get older, the old flame between couples usually recedes. It might be time to rekindle the romance by doing some activities together
Couples often remind us of romance, exploring new places, or simply going on a movie date. You always try to get your partner something they will love, like flowers, chocolate, or simply a short vacation. Each person has a unique way of expressing their love, whether through words or actions. While love never truly dies, it does fade with the passage of time. So, revive your love by visiting different places where you could make more memories and have a lovely time together.
There are a few things you should never forget to make your relationship memorable- be happy and make your partner happy. As you get older, you feel more pressure to provide for your family and to earn enough money to provide your children with everything you might not have had as a child. You work hard to provide for your family, but never try to please your partner. When you come home from work exhausted, you never consider spending quality time with your partner. It’s time to rekindle the passion like the one you had when you first married or the romance you had five years ago.
Here are a few tips and suggestions that old couples should do in Nepal:
Go on a dry Picnic
Holding hands and taking a quick stroll through the serene setting. There are many places where you could go on a picnic date with your significant other. Like Godawari, Sanga’s Shiva statue would be a wonderful place to spend time together. Taking pleasure in the snacks while engaging in a passionate conversation, or just reflecting on how utterly in love you both were and how you came to be married. Tribhuwan Park is another great location where people of all ages can enjoy themselves.
Short Hiking
Hiking has long been a popular outdoor activity for people both inside and outside the Kathmandu Valley. You and your partner ought to take a quick hike since you will be in great shape both physically and mentally. Utilize your spare time and hike to Shivapuri National Park, Marble Danda at Godawari, Champadevi, Pilot Baba, and other locations. Simply choose a location and go out for a day hike with your partner.
Overnight stay at a resort
Who doesn’t enjoy spending the night at a lovely resort with their significant other and enjoying a bonfire? There are many resorts that can give you and your partner the ideal getaway where you can take in the scenery, surroundings, and view. While enjoying a drink and taking in the nighttime view from your resort, you could discuss your happiness or sorrow with your significant other.
A holiday is essential for everyone, but especially for elderly couples who can devote more time and attention to each other. Thinking about yourself is never a bad thing. So, book a room in a resort and spend quality time together there.
Visiting pilgrimage site
As a Nepali, visiting a pilgrimage site is one of the most desired activities. The elderly couples should definitely go to the pilgrimage site together and pray for each other’s happiness and health. There are numerous popular pilgrimages sites, including Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhu, Muktinath, and many more. Take your partner to a pilgrimage site where both of you can be relieved of tension, and go to a pilgrimage site that neither of you has visited before.
Watching movie together
When was the last time you asked your partner to go to the movies? Even if it is difficult to remember, you should be aware of your partner’s preferences so that you can easily select a movie and take them to see it with you. Having a little conversation while watching your favorite actor or actress in the film and eating popcorn, what could one want more than this?
By taking them out on a date to the movies, you can observe how happy it made your significant other when you asked them out. Going on a movie date may appear to be a simple gesture, but it can do a lot to rekindle your relationship.
