Radisson Hotel Kathmandu hosts a night of merriment

On the December 14, Radisson Hotel Kathmandu commenced their tree lighting ceremony. To spark the festive spirit and to make visitors feel at home, the Christmas tree in the lobby was lit up. The tree, an essential commodity will remain decorated until the New Years.

The event was intended to provide a festive environment for in-house guests and visitors so that they could get the feel of ‘a home away from home’. To ensure all that, the hotel management was truly invested in their roles. There was a Santa Claus roaming around the lobby and taking pictures with people and the other staff were wearing the fluffy red hat as well. There were sugary treats such as cookies, pancakes, rum balls and more. The other side of the table was stationed to serve free flow of mulled wine. It was truly a Holiday treat for everyone present.

A Christmas Carol performed by the children from Mendies Home was essential in bringing the festive spirit to life. The children were all smiles while performing their English and Nepali Christmas Carols.

Christmas tree lighting has long been a tradition but the one where the hotel invites their guests and visitors to enjoy the celebrations is quite recent. The event was able to give the festive environment as promised and made sure everyone was enjoying the holiday comfort.
