The Jalpa Coffee Club, located in Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur, is the perfect place to hang out with friends and family. You get the ideal sense of serenity while sipping your coffee here and taking in the surrounding greenery. The outdoor setting at Jalpa Coffee Club is what people prefer the most, despite having both indoor and outdoor options. While the outdoor seating was very liberating, the indoor seating was more classy.
Jalpa Coffee Club has their own Coffee plantation. The plantation is owned by Ujwol SJB Rana and Shanti Chand.
The setting is very attractive and delightful. It is elegantly designed with framed photographs of Nepalese traditions. They also have images of deities to give the place more subtle vibes. The place has beautiful tables in a variety of colours made of high-quality wood, making it very elegant. The Jalpa Coffee Club staff members were friendly and welcoming as well.
Buttermilk Pancakes
The pancake is so fluffy that it melts in our mouths. It is very sweet as the chocolate chips are added to the dish. Freshly diced apples and watermelon accompany the pancakes. Poached eggs are also served. They are perfectly cooked. The yolk is runny, and the egg whites are soft on top but crisp at the bottom.
A great breakfast would be incomplete without sausages. The sausages are flawlessly cooked, neither overcooked nor underdone. The bacon strips contribute to the palate’s flavour. The palate is visually appealing and tastes delicious.
Nothing can be fancier than starting your day with a platter of fluffy pancakes, fresh fruits, eggs and bacon, and sausages.
Bagel Sandwich
The most delicious herby bagel is sliced in between and loaded with goodness for the Bagel Sandwich. The bagel on itself is very good, but when combined with grilled chicken, poached egg and cheese, it tastes even better. To add flavour to the sandwich, it also has tomatoes, sautéed onions, and crispy bacon.
Wedged potato fries, grilled tomatoes, and fresh lettuce are served alongside the bagel to add colour and flavour to the plate.
The bagel sandwich is very filling. The sandwich is rich and creamy. It serves both purposes- good health and good taste.
Bolognese
The Bolognese is a delicious spaghetti coated with creamy sauce and minced chicken. The dish is initially very sweet before transitioning into a savoury aftertaste. The minced chicken enhances the dish’s meaty flavour. It is topped with parmesan cheese, which makes it more creamy and delicious. It is garnished with herbs and garlic bread. The bread is very soft and is coated with garlic butter and fresh parsley.
The dish is very tempting to look at and scrumptious in taste.
They served us two delicious smoothies. The first was a drink made with mixed berries that tasted very fruity. The second one, made with fresh watermelon, was also very flavoursome.
We also tried their Filter Coffee, which came cold and with ice. The coffee was very delectable and strong, with the ability to keep you going all day.
The placement of the restaurant is captivating. You can visit them for a healthy breakfast or a light lunch with your friends and family.
The coffee grounds used in this restaurant are turned into manure and packaged so that they can give it away for free to their customers. Do not forget to get one for your plants the next time you go there!
