There is something for every type of tourists, from parties to secluded beaches, from unusual animals to endless swimming spots, and a laid-back lifestyle.

The Beaches
It would take you 27 years to visit all of the beaches of Australia if you visited one beach per day. The sandy stretches are home to world-class surfing, diverse marine life, breathtaking ocean pools, and unrivalled beach culture. Popular beaches include Whitehaven Beach on the Whitsunday Islands, Bondi Beach in Sydney, and Cottesloe Beach in Perth, but there are literally thousands more to choose from.
Some of Australia's beaches have amusing names as well; South Australia has Anxious Bay, and down the West Coast, you can see the sign of Hangover Bay. So it’s no surprise that Australian beaches consistently rank among the best in the world.

Wherever you visit, you can learn a little more about the distant origins because the cultures and communities there are different.
