The Café at Hyatt Regency Kathmandu welcomes diners to eat to their heart’s content

A ten-day long food promotion at Hyatt Regency Kathmandu running from May 3 to 12, brings the authentic flavours from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Telangana. Presented to you by Chef Arun Prasad and his culinary team, it promises to be an unmissable event.

After an extensive vacation in the South of India, Chef Arun has brought a world of flavours to the chic settings of The Café. With personally hand-picked ingredients, a table of delicacies will be set out for lunches and dinners.

Signature dishes such as the  Dhanedar Shunti, hand-pounded spiced lamb meat balls; Chappa Pulusu, fish cooked in the Andhra style; Thalappa Kattu chicken biryani, traditional Tamil Nadu style chicken; Chemeen Polichathu, slow-cooked prawns in a tangy and spicy coconut sauce wrapped in banana leaf; Chinna Urali Vendhiya Keerai Peratal, baby potatoes tossed with fenugreek, onion, tomato and curry leaves; Malabar Paratha, Kerala-style layered Indian flour bread and Elaneer Paysam, a tender coconut pudding will be something to look forward to.
