The municipality has formed a new committee and entrusted it with management. In the presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Water Resources, Irrigation and Energy Rajendra Lingden, village head Manikumar Syangbo formed a committee under the chairmanship of Dilip Rai and entrusted with the management and promotion of the temple. The committee formed by the rural municipality has already started its work.
Manikumar Syangbo, chairman of the rural municipality said, “The responsibility has been transferred to develop and promote the temple.”
Under the chairmanship of Rai, a 19-member committee consisting of local residents, garland traders, non-governmental organisations, donors, teachers and one person from each ward has been entrusted with the management of the temple. The rural municipality aims to earn more than one crore rupees by bringing in five lakh devotees every year._RSS
