Experiencing winter like never before. Kathmandu is expected to get colder. Whether it’s huddling around the fireplace or enjoying your evening caffeine fix, you can’t argue that winter has undeniably arrived.

Nothing beats the warmth of coal and firewood.

A golden projection on the fog bringing light to a new day.

Swayambhunath, Kathmandu

Pacing yourself on freezing morning walks around Swayambhunath or Pashupatinath is a kickstarter for some whereas many may prefer to be cuddled up in bed. The early birds are welcomed with breathtaking views and the rest are greeted by foggy clouded windows. Rubbing your palms against each other, take a sip as you enjoy what else Kathmandu has to offer.

A small cup of tea, big enough to warm your heart.
