I recently had the opportunity to embark on a remarkable hiking adventure to Bishnudwar, the spot where the Bishnumati waterway originates. The climb was relatively short and easy, thanks to the well-marked trail within the national park area and the presence of a nearby military camp. The cool, refreshing water, gentle breeze, and colorful fallen leaves along the path made the journey even more enjoyable.
As we hiked, we frequently paused to capture breathtaking pictures, marvel at the picturesque valley views, and appreciate the beauty of nature surrounding us. The day was filled with exciting experiences, including our encounters with some friendly military personnel along the way. At one point, they stopped us and asked for passes to enter the National Park Region. They kindly reminded us to abide by the park's rules and regulations. With their permission, we continued our hike, eager to reach our destination.
Finally, we arrived at Bishnudwar in the late morning, and we were immediately captivated by the sight of the wooden bridge leading to the main temple. The wooden bridge was already famous in the area, and it added to the charm of the place. Crossing the bridge, we savored the chilly breeze, taking in the serene atmosphere. It was then that we noticed a cave entrance, which served as the gateway to the temple. Excitedly, we ventured into the cave, cameras in hand, ready to document our unforgettable journey. While some of our group members remained on the bridge, a few of us ventured further into the cave.
Inside the cave, we discovered another smaller bridge that connected to the hiking trail leading to Baghdwar, our ultimate destination. Gathering around a massive stone, we decided to take a break, indulging in snacks and laughter. We shared stories and jokes and relished each other's company, cherishing the camaraderie we had built throughout the hike. Time flew by quickly, and soon it was time to retrace our steps back to Dadagaun.
We then headed towards the Bansbari, where we enjoyed a delicious meal together. Although the hike itself was relatively short, it provided us with an abundance of unforgettable memories, meaningful conversations, inside jokes, and countless photographs. These are the kinds of experiences that we can always revisit and share with each other, fostering a bond that will endure beyond this remarkable adventure.
My journey to Bishnudwar was a truly memorable hiking experience. From the easy climb through the national park and military camp to the breathtaking sights along the way, every step of the journey was filled with joy and wonder. The wooden bridge, the mystical cave, and the warm camaraderie we shared made this adventure one for the books. As I reflect on this incredible journey, I can't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to connect with nature and create lasting memories with cherished friends.
