It’s being said that in the spring, a number of climbers have achieved success in climbing the Himalayas and the number of people seeking permission to climb the mountains in Nepal is also increasing.
So far, 73 teams have taken permission to climb various mountain peaks. There are 504 men and 148 women in these teams and the number of mountaineers have reached 654 in total. The Government of Nepal has collected a revenue of Rs. 487.72 million from the mountaineering teams.
Mountaineering teams from different countries have given priority to the world's highest peak, Mount Everest. There are 38 teams that have been allowed to climb Mt. Everest. There are 369 climbers including 279 males and 87 females. In the second round, 11 teams have reached Lhotse Himal. There are 104 climbers, including 81 men and 23 women.
Similarly, there are four teams in Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. For the first time in Annapurna Himal, Nepali women have achieved success. Forty-six men and eight women were allowed to climb the mountain.
Similarly, 19 men and 11 women are trying to climb Dhaulagiri. There are 19 men and 23 women in 3 teams in Nupse Himal. There are two climbing teams in Amadablam and Makalu Himal and one each in Manaslu, Tengkangpoche, Baruntse, Himalung, Mustang, Pumori, Saribung, Tilicho and Tukuche.
