A total of four bridges set up on the way to Annapurna Base Camp, two of which are still under construction

Construction of two bridges has completed whereas two more are underway enroute Annapurna Base Camp, Myagdi. With the help of the Tourism Office in Pokhara the newly built bridges are said to be 30 mt and 25 mt long. Tej Gurung, Chairman of the Village Conservation Management Committee, said that the bridges were constructed with Rs 10 lakh fund provided by the Tourism Office and help from local people.

In 2068 BS, the locals from Narchyang had constructed the trekking trail to the base camp. Earlier, mountain climbers used to travel to the base camp through Taklung, Mustang, which was a five-day walk and a dangerous journey through the forest. Now, it can be reached after a three-day walk from the village.
