The Karnali province government has announced the Chaitedashain festival a public holiday.

The Karnali province government has announced the Chaitedashain festival a public holiday. The festival falls on the day of Chaite Shukla Astami or tomorrow, Tuesday, this year as per the lunar calendar. 

Secretary at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law of the province government, Punya Bikram Poudel said the public holiday has been given on Chaitedashain as per the decision of the province government's Council of Ministers on May 25, 2020. 

All government and public offices, educational institutions and public corporations will remain closed tomorrow, Secretary Poudel informed through a notice today.
