Every year on the day of Maghe Sankranti, an exhibition of Raithane crops will be conducted at the fair held at Dhungesanghu in Pokhara. The fair held in Dhungesanghu since ancient times is considered as a natural fair.
The exhibition is going to be held with the aim of reviving various Raithane crops when they are disappearing. On this occasion, the farmers of all 33 wards under the metropolis will exhibit Raithane crops such as Anadi, Ghaiya, millet, etc. produced in their respective places. They are also preparing to perform songs related to biodiversity.
On the occasion of the National Agricultural Biodiversity Year 2079, the government is preparing to celebrate the National Agricultural Biodiversity Day on Magh 1 with various programs.
