Cycling from Kalika to Vindhyavasini where many people participated to protect the environment and promote tourism

A bicycle rally has started from Baglung-Kalika Temple to Vindhyavasini Temple in Pokhara to promote tourism.

The bicycle rally was organized in coordination with the organization of Cycle City Pokhara and organizations such as Baglung Municipality, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Shaligram Museum.

Manibhadra Sharma, Minister of Tourism, Industry, Commerce, and Supplies of Gandaki Province, inaugurated the cycle rally at Baglung Kalika Temple. The rally has an important message to protect the environment and promote tourism.

On the occasion of the Mayor's Cup cycle race held in Pokhara, the Baglung Municipality has informed that a request has been made for a rally to create an environment for the tourists coming to Pokhara to come to Baglung too.

Two hundred passengers from Kathmandu, Sindhupalchok, Banke, Rupandehi, Sunsari, Nuwakot, Dhading, Syangja, Tanahun, and other districts are participating in the cycle rally.

It is believed that tourists who go directly to Mustang from Pokhara can choose the Baglung route after this. The message of the competition organized in Pokhara was 'Save fuel drop by drop'. This message comes from Baglung, inviting foreign bicycle tourists and domestic tourism. The cycle rally will start from Baglung Kalika, pass through Kushma Bazar in Parbat, and reach Vindwasini Temple in Pokhara.

“The cycle rally will bring an awareness message on environmental protection and bring Baglung and Pokhara closer through tourism,” said Naresh Kandel, president of the Baglung Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

"We are jointly managing the bicycle rally in Baglung", said Kopilamani Sharma, the executive mayor of Baglung Municipality, "It will send a message to the tourists, who come to Pokhara, that there are places to visit in Baglung as well."_Rss
