Covid-19 recovery rate has increased in Nepal. The recovery rate in Nepal has increased compared to the rest of the world. As per the data released on Thursday, the recovery rate in the world has reached 69.3 percent while in Nepal it has reached 94.2 percent. Of the 692,54,300 infected people in the world, 48,09,437 have been cured. As of Thursday, 231,601 out of 245,650 infected people in Nepal have recovered and returned home.

In Nepal, at one time only 60-62 percent of those infected with Covid-19 were cured, but now it has reached more than 94 percent. Looking at the statistics of the last two months, the recovery rate has increased from 68 percent.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, said that the recovery rate has increased due to the good treatment services for the infected in Nepal. "Now the treatment service is also better," he said, "so the recovery rate of the infected has also increased." On September 12, 68.8 percent of the infected have been cured. Similarly, 70.6 percent of the infected people returned home on November 26, 77.6 percent on November 29 and 80 percent on November 10.

Looking at the statistics since December 4, the infection rate has increased. 92.9 percent of the infected have been cured on December 5, 93.4 percent on November 7, 93.7 percent on December 7, 94 percent on December 7, 94.1 percent on December 7 and 94.3 percent on December 8. According to figures released by the ministry on Thursday alone, 94.2 percent of those infected have recovered. On that day, 1,064 people were healed and returned home.

Dr. Sagar Raj Bhandari, director of Shukraraj Tropical and Communicable Diseases Hospital, said that even though the treatment system is similar to other countries, the infected people are cured at home without any symptoms. He added that the rate of recovery has increased as the number of trials has decreased and the number of infections has also decreased.

Dr. Praveen Nepal of the Armed Police Force Hospital says that the number of cures has increased due to the low number of tests and the low rate of infection. "Currently, infected people who do not have symptoms go home and recover on their own," he said.

Mortality rate low

Similarly, Nepal has a lower mortality rate than the rest of the world. According to the latest statistics, only 0.67 percent of the infected people in Nepal die. Only 56.5 people per million die. So far, 1,663 people have died in Nepal due to the infection.

Covid-19 kills 2.3 percent of infected people worldwide. In the world, 1.576 million people have died due to infection.
