Best Western Plus Kathmandu launched its first CSR initiative during Haritalika Teej at Pashupatinath Temple, distributing free water and juices to thousands of devotees. The program reflects the hotel’s vision of blending world-class hospitality with community care.

Kathmandu, 26 August 2025 – Best Western Plus Kathmandu initiated its first corporate social responsibility (CSR) activity on the occasion of Haritalika Teej, marking a meaningful beginning to its community engagement journey. To support thousands of devotees at the revered Pashupatinath Temple, the hotel offered complimentary bottled water and juices throughout the day.

The initiative recognized the cultural and spiritual importance of Teej, a festival where women from across Nepal gather for fasting, prayers, and celebrations. By providing refreshments, the hotel sought to ease the experience of devotees spending extended hours in worship, underscoring its commitment to community well-being.

A spokesperson for Best Western Plus Kathmandu stated: “We dedicated this initiative to the Teej festival and the devotees visiting Pashupatinath Temple. Best Western Plus Kathmandu believes that hospitality is not only about serving our guests but also about serving society. This is just the beginning, and we plan to continue supporting community-focused activities in the future.”

Located close to Pashupatinath Temple and Tribhuvan International Airport, Best Western Plus Kathmandu offers 84 contemporary rooms along with amenities such as a swimming pool, spa, gym, and banquet halls. Beyond world-class facilities, the hotel emphasizes meaningful connections with the local community.

With this first CSR project, Best Western Plus Kathmandu reinforces its vision of merging global standards with local traditions, ensuring that its presence in the city brings value not only to travellers but also to society at large.
