One of the most popular destinations among tourists in Mexico is situated in the southeast part of the country on the northeast coast of the Yucatán Peninsula in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo. Popular for amazing weather and beautiful beaches surrounding the Caribbean sea. 

Cancun Downtown

As the city is divided into the Hotel Zone island with the destination’s beaches and resorts, and Downtown Cancun where the locals live. Downtown Cancun has several bars and restaurants as well as a shopping place, Parque Las and Palapas Market 28 are few examples. 
If you wanna see how the people of Cancun really live this is a go-to place for you. Downtown Cancun has a community atmosphere and it is not so far away from the hotel zone.

Cancun’s Beaches 

The beaches here in Cancun are the icon of this city. Many tourists flocks here to experience the amazing weather with gorgeous beaches. The hotel zones have one of the popular beaches, for example, Plana Delfines, plana Tortugas, Playa Forum, and Chac Mool Beach. 

Chichen Itza

One of the seven wonders of the world, the layout of the Chichen Itza site core developed during its earlier phase of occupation, between 750 and 900 AD. Its final layout was developed after 900 AD, and the 10th century saw the rise of the city as a regional capital controlling the area from central Yucatán to the north coast, with its power extending down the east and west coasts of the peninsula.
The Chichen Itza is just 3 hours away from Cancun. If you are visiting Cancun, this place is the go-to place. 

Tulum

Tulum is a town on the Caribbean coastline of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. It’s known for its beaches and well-preserved ruins of an ancient Mayan port city. Tulum is home to an amazing array of animals, from monkeys and jaguars to sea turtles and iguanas. One place to get a closer glimpse at all of them is at the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve. It is just 130km from the city of Cancun. If you wanna try something else after spending time at Cancun, Tulum is the best place.
