Sherpa Hospitality Group (SHG), a subsidiary of Yeti Group, recently hosted an exclusive evening to celebrate significant achievements and introduce exciting new ventures. This special occasion highlighted the first anniversary of Shinta Mani Mustang – A Bensley Collection, the launch of a new Mountain Lodges of Nepal (MLN) property in Manang, and upcoming upgrades to Kasara Chitwan.

Sherpa Hospitality Group (SHG) manages and operates a collection of 18 premium lodges and resorts, including Shinta Mani Mustang – A Bensley Collection, Mountain Lodges of Nepal, Kasara Chitwan, and Hokke Lumbini. These family-owned properties are located along the Great Himalaya Trails of Everest and Annapurna, within the national forests and deserts of Terai, and in the arid mountain desert or the birthplace of Buddha.

Mountain Lodges of Nepal: Introducing the Manang Property

Sherpa Hospitality Group is thrilled to announce the addition of a new property to the Mountain Lodges of Nepal (MLN) brand in Manang. This property joins a collection of 14 family-owned premium lodges, designed to provide exceptional trekking experiences along the Great Himalayan Trails. Sherpa Hospitality Group’s origins trace back over two decades, long before its formal establishment during the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The journey began with Lakpa Sonam Sherpa and his brother, the late Ang Tshering Sherpa, who identified a need for quality accommodations in Lukla, a venture many considered too risky. Despite the challenges, their passion for developing Nepal’s remote and beautiful regions drove them forward. For more than thirty years, MLN has provided warmth, welcome, and guidance to trekkers. MLN’s mission is to redefine high-end tourism along Nepal’s Great Himalayan Trails, offering fully-supported trips and accommodations that make the Himalayas accessible, safe, and welcoming for people of all ages. By focusing on simplicity and recovery, MLN seeks to honor the mountains and the traditions of mountain hospitality while bringing quality tourism back to our communities.

Kasara Chitwan: Enhancing Luxury Experiences

In line with the commitment to continuous improvement, Sherpa Hospitality Group is excited to announce upcoming upgrades to Kasara Chitwan. These enhancements are designed to elevate the guest experience by combining luxurious accommodations with immersive nature and wildlife encounters in the heart of Chitwan National Park. Guests can look forward to new amenities, improved facilities, and elevated services that will make Kasara Chitwan an even more premier destination for luxury travelers.
