Rajesh Lama, also known as Lama Dai, is a 35-year-old professional trekking guide and entrepreneur who recently accomplished a remarkable feat by walking approximately 433 kilometers over nearly 60 days and then reaching the summit of Mount Everest. Lama's journey began on April 1st from Kathmandu, and he walked through several significant locations, including Dhulikhel, Koshi Paari Dudhgaon (his village), Sailung, and Jiri, arriving at Everest Base Camp on the 24th day of his trek.

Rajesh Lama has over a decade of experience in Nepal's tourism industry since 2009, leading and instructing treks across various challenging terrains. In 2013, Lama's entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish LaMa Walks, a trekking company where he continues to inspire and guide adventurers, sharing his deep passion for travel and the outdoors. Lama Dai also serves as the Executive Director at Himalayan Medics, an organization dedicated to outdoor safety and medical support, enhancing the safety and well-being of trekkers and climbers in the Himalayas.
