Paragliding

Flying over Pokhara Valley provides adrenaline-pumping Himalayan vistas without the hike. Pokhara, a gateway to Nepal’s Annapurna area, is regarded as one of world’s best paragliding destinations- thanks in part to breathtaking vistas of glaciers, lakes, and snow-capped peaks.

Not just Pokhara, but also at Chapkharka, Kot Danda, Phulchowki, and Bandipur, you can enjoy stunning landscapes from the air.

National Geographic named Pokhara one of the best places in the world for paragliding. So, put this on your bucket list right away.

Mad Honey Hunting

Wild Honey Hunting, also known as Mad Honey Hunting in Nepal, is a one-of-a-kind adventure activity in Nepal. Honey hunting has been a part of ancient cultures of different civilizations. It is a genuine and common activity conducted by the Nepalese indigenous people for thousands of years.

Honey hunting comprises harvesting honey from large beehives nestled in cliffs 200-500 metres high using traditionally braided rope. Mad honey hunting takes place in rural Nepal including Rukum, Lamjung, Kaski, Myagdi, and Jumla. Watching this accomplishment achieved by local honey hunters on your honey-hunting expedition will be awe-inspiring, and joining them will be even more so!

Rafting in pristine water

No vacation to Nepal would be complete without some adventure, and it’s no surprise that one of the world’s greatest rivers begins here fed by the mighty Himalayan glaciers.

Nepal is home to some of the world’s most beautiful and wild rivers. Nepal is one of the best sites in the world for white water rafting because of its breathtaking alpine landscapes, intense white water rapids, and intriguing cultural experiences.

You may raft for several days or only one day through high flowing white water rapids, in rivers like Bhotekoshi, Tamur, Trisuli, Seti, and more. You might want to add this to your list!

Roam around the city

A day trip to the ancient Kathmandu city can also be done. This itinerary may include visits to the world heritage monuments, such as Boudhanath Stupa, Swaymbhunath Stupa, and different durbar squares in the valley.

You can eat the best and authentic Newari cuisines, as well as dishes from a variety of other culinary traditions.

You will never run out of things to do in Nepal. These are only a few examples. Don’t forget to include them on your bucket list!
