The metal suspension bridge over Rosi River connecting two villages on the hill. Other numerous suspension or wooden bridges can also be seen in the area, connecting different settlements.
Typical village houses made up of stones and mud are found in the village. Houses are usually 3-4 storey so that, they could create space to store grains from farms.
Farming and animal husbandry is the main occupation of residents of Balthali village. You can see villagers tending their farms, grazing their cattle and flocks of hens and ducks feeding freely in the fields along the way to Balthali and in the village area as well. Even though other craft prevails, it is not taken as their main occupation.
Hills of Balthali is fully covered with orange trees and villagers can be seen gathering oranges to sell in the nearby market.
