Kohalpur, the second largest city in the Banke district, is about to open a new and well-equipped Bus Park with a shopping complex. Kohalpur municipality took a loan from the Town Development Fund to construct the Bus Park, which is now in the final stages of preparation for opening.
According to sources within the municipality, the Bus Park will have 59 commercial shutters, a bus parking area, a ticket counter, and a shopping complex. In addition to these facilities, there will also be a health post, banks, and a security post within the Bus Park.
Located in the corner of Kohalpur Chauraha, the Bus Park has three platforms and a capacity to accommodate over three dozen long and short distance vehicles. The contractor is expected to complete construction and hand over the Bus Park to the municipality soon.
The Chief Executive Officer of Kohalpur municipality, Tikaram Dhakal, shared that the municipality is planning to bring the Bus Park into operation soon. The mayor of Kohalpur municipality, Purna Acharya, also revealed that after the completion of the Bus Park, transport services would be operated across the country from Nepalgunj and Kohalpur.
The new Bus Park in Kohalpur is expected to provide a convenient and safe transportation hub for locals and travelers alike. With its shopping complex and other facilities, the Bus Park is likely to become a popular destination for people to shop, dine, and relax while waiting for their buses._Rss
