The test flight has been completed at Resunga airport in Gulmi. Tara Air's test flight was successfully completed in collaboration with Resunga Municipality.
Nine N ALO TwinOtter-400 aircraft of Tara Air took off from Tribhuvan International Airport at 11:14 this morning and landed at Resunga Airport at Simichour located in Resunga Municipality-10 of Gulmi at 12:00. Even before this, Tara Air had conducted a test flight on 25th Jestha 2075.
On board the ship were Chandra Bhandari, Member of Parliament elected from Gulmi District, Nepali Congress (UML) Deputy Secretary General Pradeep Gyawali, Provincial Assembly Member Dhanendra Bahadur Karki, CPN (Unified Socialist) Secretary Ram Kumari Jhankri, Resunga Municipality Chief Khildhwaj Panthi and officials of Tara Air and Nepal Civil Aviation Authority. All the people who came from the flight were welcomed with garlands.
After the test flight was completed on Sunday, the process of regular flight will be started. For regular flights, it will take at least two to three weeks. At the airport, Tara Air will initially fly in coordination with Resunga Municipality.
