Nepal and Canada are engaging in bilateral discussions today as Foreign Minister Deuba visited Ottawa. Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, for the 'Women's Foreign Ministers Meeting' in Toronto on September 19 and 20, will be holding talks with a delegation led by Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly.
As per the Embassy of Nepal in Ottawa, Minister Deuba is also set to meet with members of the Canada-Nepal Parliamentary Friendship Group at Parliamentary Hill and attend a reception hosted by the embassy in celebration of Nepal's National Day.
Minister Deuba arrived in Canada on Tuesday at the invitation of Canadian Foreign Minister Joly and was welcomed at Montreal International Airport by Nepal's Ambassador to Canada, Bharat Raj Paudel, along with staff from the Nepali embassy and Canadian government officials.
