NATTA (Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents) has expressed its condolences in a Press Release on the recent plane crash in Pokhara.
NATTA has expressed its condolences to the bereaved families of the passengers and crew members of the plane that had crashed on Sunday. The Press Release read:
"Today the 1st of Magh 2079, Sunday, the plane of Yeti Airlines, with the call sign 9N ANC ATR72, that was flying from Kathmandu to Pokhara, crashed while it was on its way to land at the Pokhara International Airport. All the passengers, including the crew members, have died in this immeasurable loss. So, we, Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA), offer our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. We pray that the families of the passengers as well as crew members, who have lost their loved ones, may find the courage to be patient in this hour of tragedy.
"Safe and reliable flights are the base of tourism. In the aviation sector of Nepal, the stakeholders and the government must pay attention to the safety of air travel in the Nepalese sky. NATTA has raised this issue many times to the concerned authorities. A thorough investigation must be carried out to discover the truth behind this unfortunate event. In the coming days, the future passengers must be assured of their safety while traveling by plane."
