The event highlighted Nepali culture and our rich heritage, aided in the preservation of Nepalese communities in Western Australia
The Non-Resident Nepali Australia organised the Nepal Festival Perth in Perth, Australia, on November 6, 2022, to showcase Nepalese culture through language, ethnicity, costumes, arts, architecture, and food.
The festival was a free cultural event that brought together the Nepali Community in Western Australia and interstate visitors. There were displays of Nepali food, dance, music, cultural dress shops, and much more. The event’s goal was to highlight Nepali culture, promote peace and harmony in the community, and attract tourists.
The event spotlighted Nepal, Nepali culture, and our rich heritage, aided in the preservation of Nepalese communities in Western Australia. It brought Nepali communities together, as well as directly or indirectly promoted tourism in Nepal.
“Nepal Festival Perth is the showcase of Nepalese culture through language, ethnicity, costumes, arts and architects and food. The Nepal Festival Perth emblem acknowledges the emotional connectivity of our culture and heritage between our adopted homeland and our motherland,” read a news release issued by the organiser, Non-Resident Nepali Australia.
Thousands of Nepali and international tourists were present in the event to support and enjoy the Nepali culture and tradition. Therefore, the event was a hit for both Nepalese and Australians.
