Tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday, there won’t be any traffic delays on the Narayangadh-Muglin road section.
Due to the fact that the wall has to be cut for the construction of the bridge, vehicles will not stop for Maghe Sankranti on that road section which is being closed for four hours during the afternoon.
According to Kiran Karki, head of the Nagadhungadh-Muglin road project West Section (Narayangadh-Muglin), which is looking at the project, stopping the traffic has been effective. The work of cutting the walls of three of the five bridges under construction has been completed.
The bridge work of Simaltal, Kalikhola, and Namchi Khola has been completed. The walls of the Chisenji and Tuin River bridges are yet to be cut. Only 30 percent of the wall on the right side of Tuin has been cut, while 70 percent of Chisenji has been cut. About 65 percent of both bridges on the left side have been cut.
Along with these bridges, nine bridges have been built. Five bridges on that road had already been built. Five bridges are under construction.
"The road is going to be fully operational as devotees come from far away to visit the holy pilgrimage site Devghat for the Maghe Sankranti Mela. The road has been blocked from 11 am to 3 pm for 30 days since Poush 5," the District Administration Office Chitwan informed._Rss
