The number of people visiting Kavrepalanchok has increased recently. There has been a significant increase in the number of domestic tourists in the district including Nagarkot, Devisthandanda of Dhulikhel, Namobuddha, View tower of Anekot and Tindhare Jharna of Roshi.
Most of the people are attracted by the beauty of these tourist areas. Those who want to enjoy the beauty of nature are now flocking to those areas. According to locals, the number of domestic tourists visiting these destinations as been deserted for a long time due to the virus infection, has increased significantly.
Hundreds of people visit to enjoy the serene atmosphere, clean air and beautiful scenery. At this time, the locals say that there is an influx of domestic tourists in the view tower of Anekot. During the Dashain and Tihar festivals, more than 500 tourists visit the view tower. In recent times, it has become the destination of choice for domestic tourists, not only for tourists but also for picnics and couples.
The tourist attraction of Panchkhal Municipality-1 is increasing due to its geographically high, scenic, green forest and peaceful mountain range. Sonam Tamang, a local, said that the number has increased significantly. Due to its proximity to Banepa and Dhulikhel, many people visit the place. According to the locals, the tourist attraction has increased after the construction of the five storey View tower by the then Ministry of Peace.
Similarly, Devisthan danda of Dhulikhel is famous for its natural peaks. Tourists are attracted by the view of the surrounding mountains from the high mountains as well as the beautiful scenery of the mountains. Visitors say that the attraction has increased due to the recent construction of a peace garden in Devisthan with the help of the municipality and the state government and a garden with a statue of Bal Bhadra Kunwar.
Another attractive destination for tourists is Namobuddha. Due to its religious, historical and natural beauty, the number of visitors has increased significantly in recent times. The Tindhare waterfall at Kafaldanda in Roshi village municipality-2 is also a tourist's choice. The waterfall, which is very attractive from the point of view of natural beauty, has been attracting a lot of domestic tourists lately. The waterfall between the pristine waters of Mahabharat Lake, the high waterfall and the green forest is the first choice of tourists.
Due to the development of road infrastructure, the area has been developing as a gathering place for friends and family lately.
