Chapakot Deurali Community Homestay Cultural Festival 2079 is going to be held from Magh 24th to 28th, targeting the tourism development of Chapakot, a tourist place located in Pokhara Metropolitan City-23.
Chapakot Deurali Community Homestay is the co-sponsor of the festival organized by the Chapakot Tourism Promotion Committee and promoted by the Nepal Tourism Board.
“There will be various cultural programs and competitions at the festival. There will be competitions in Naumati Baja, Bhajan, Ratayuli, sports, children's dance, Duna tapri weaving, etc.” said the Chairman of the committee, Bhim Prasad Parajuli.
Through the festival, it is believed to promote local natural, religious, social, and cultural heritage, develop a tourism environment, and increase income through self-employment.
With the money saved from the festival, signboards will be placed at various places for tourism promotion, documentaries will be made, publicity will be spread through the website, and pamphlets will be printed and distributed.
The committee has made a plan to build a footpath from Bamdi to Bhumdikot, make the homestay more quality, and try to add new ones._RSS
