COVID-19: 2,468 new cases; 14 deaths reported in past 24 hours

The country reported a total of 2,468 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours across the country from 7525 RT-PCR tests.

The country reported a total of 2,468 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours across the country from 7525 RT-PCR tests.

The Kathmandu valley recorded 872 new cases including 644 in Kathmandu district, 141 in Lalitpur and 87 in Bhaktapur

The Ministry of Health and Population stated that the total caseload reached 297,087 with the latest figure. Likewise, a total of 368 people got recovered from the infection in the past 24 hours across the country. 

With the latest reports, the country now has 16,828 active reported cases of coronavirus infection and 71 of them are in quarantine facilities

According to the Ministry, 14 more deaths were reported due to coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours. With this, the total death toll hit 3,136 in Nepal.
