For tourism promotion, the 'Arun Danda Tourism Promotion Festival 2079' will be organized from 22nd of Mangsir
The festival is going to be organized for six days at Arun Danda of Pauwadungma-1, a tourist spot, with the basic slogan of 'Pauwadungma Rural Municipality Festival, Our Identity, Cultural Heritage, Internal and External Tourism Festival'.
At the festival, food dishes of local ethnic groups, agricultural materials, and products will be exhibited, and there will also be performances by local and national artists.
The festival has been organized for the development and promotion of the tourist areas within the village. This will help in the upliftment of the language, customs, and culture along with the tourist areas here.
In order to promote tourism, stalls of various materials, exhibitions reflecting the culture of different languages and castes, local food, and agricultural products of local people will be displayed at the festival.
The rural municipality has planned ahead in the tourism development of this region. The festival will also help in the economic development of the rural municipality.
"The festival has been organized for the development and promotion of the tourist areas within the village. We believe that this will help in the upliftment of the language, customs, and culture along with the tourist areas here.” Said Sanjiv Subba, chairman of the Arun Promotion Committee.
“The festival will help to market locally produced goods and materials and will directly benefit the promotion of tourist destinations here.” Secretary of the committee Saroj Chamling Rai expressed his belief.
“The rural municipality is working in a planned manner in the development of the tourism sector. The rural municipality has provided Rs 10 lakh for organizing the festival.” said Jyotsana Rai, the vice president of the rural municipality._Rss
