The conclave provided an overview of Nepal's revolution in the hospitality industry within the time span
The Nepal Hospitality Conclave, the industry's first convention, concluded successfully on September 25 at The Soaltee Kathmandu. The conclave was hosted in association with the Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN) and Nepal Traveller as the media partner.The event was organised by Beanstalk Asia Nepal and WaterComm and presented by The Sagtani Exim.
Meticulously hosted seven plenary sessions with riveting presentations and panel discussions was dedicated on emergence of multi brands, role of hospitality in promoting Nepal, digital sales touch point, role of modern technology in service optimisation, unlocking policy constraint, standardisation of hotel products, role of trained HR, impact of women employees and entrepreneurs and sustainability. Experts in the field shared their knowledge and interacted with attendees during these moderated sessions, dispelling preconceived notions and interacting.
Participants were provided with the opportunity to network with the industry peers and possible business partners at the conclave. Participants were also able to meet and catch up on insightful conversations about industry trends and business for lasting camaraderie on a personal level.
The conclave had more than 300 attendees, 30 plus exhibitors, seven plenary sessions, more than 22 speakers, and moderators. It concluded with better networking, strategising, and planning for the welfare of the hospitality industry in Nepal, as well as beneficial discussions between governmental authorities and private enterprises that highlighted potential steps toward the improvement of the industry.
