The current monsoon pattern, which has been active for the past few days, is expected to remain weak from Saturday. In addition, the current monsoon activities will slow down from tomorrow as the low-pressure line will go down from Friday night.

Senior Meteorologist at the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology Min Kumar Aryal said that the weather pattern would gradually improve from the eastern region of Nepal on Saturday.

He, however, said that the monsoon period is still active, but there will not be torrential rain like that of previous days.

The Department said that there would generally be too mostly cloudy throughout the country today, and light to moderate rain is likely to occur at many places. Similarly, chances of heavy rain with thunder and lightning are expected at some places of Province 1, Province 2, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, and Lumbini Province and one or two places of Karnali Province and Sudurpashchim Province.
