The Under-18 (U-18) Women's and Men's International Rugby Championship is going to be held in Nepal for the first time.

The Under-18 (U-18) Women's and Men's International Rugby Championship is going to be held in Nepal for the first time.

Eight nations will participate in the competition for men and five for women. On the men's side, Chinese Taipei, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Thailand, Malaysia, South Korea, India and Bangladesh will participate along with Nepal. Likewise, Nepal, India, UAE, Malaysia and Thailand will participate in the women's event.

The Indian team has already arrived in Nepal on Monday to participate in the competition. 

Acting President of Nepal Rugby Association, Deepak Devkota said, “The tournament will be held at Dashrath Stadium in Tripureshwor on 24th and 25th of December under the management of Asia Rugby Association and Nepal Rugby Association. He also added “Nepal's U-18 team has been preparing for about one and a half months at Hetauda's stadium.”_RSS
