With flat land in between, Soledanda is developing into a popular tourist resort.

There is flat land between dense vegetation. That is why so many people are drawn to it. Soledanda, on the boundary of Baglung and Myagdi. Located at an altitude of 2,630 meters, the natural beauty of Soledanda is enticing. Recently, this hill has become a destination for those who come to see the Himalayas and the sunrise and sunset.

In Chaitra and Baisakh, the beauty of Soledanda is revealed even more when the rhododendron bloom. In winter, when the mountain is completely covered with snow, its charm cannot be described in words. Due to the easy access of the road, the number of domestic tourists coming here is increasing recently. There is a need for publicity to reach foreign tourists.

People also come to Soledanda for forest feast, night 'camp' and hiking. The snow range and dozens of natural scenic views that can be seen from here attract many people. The calm environment, clean air, and chirping sounds of the animals on this hill in the high mountain region make the mind happy. From here, along with hundreds of villages of Baglung and Myagdi, one can view dozens of snow ranges including Dhaulagiri, Dhaulashree, Machhapuchche, Manapathi. Locals say that domestic tourists coming from both Myagdi and Baglung have been increasing in Soledanda recently.

In order to bring in internal and external tourists and to honor the martyrs, the rural municipality has built a Martyr's Salik along with the construction of infrastructure in this place, which is in Tamankhola Rural Municipality-4. The rural municipality has built a memorial for those who died in various movements, including the Martyr Park.

The construction of tourism infrastructure has been emphasized to develop Soledanda as a tourist center. The arrival of domestic tourists is increasing after the road network is connected. For the convenience of tourists, toilets and drinking water have been constructed in Soledanda area. In this area, the rural municipality has already built water pipes and toilets five years ago.

Tourists come to visit Soledanda during the twelve months of winter. More people come from the market area to play in the snow in the winter and to escape the heat during the rainy season. To connect Tamankhola with international tourism, the feasibility of a footpath connecting Kathekhola from Ghodabandhe to Tarakhola, Durlek, and Soledanda to Dhorpatan has been studied.

“The construction work has reached the final stage. Dozens of tourists come to Soledanda on the border of two districts every day. Since the road to Soledanda is good, there has been an increase in the arrival of domestic tourists.” said Upper City Vice President Hirakumari Chantyal
