The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation has honored mountaineer, Sanu Sherpa. Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Minister, Jeevan Ram Shrestha honored Sherpa, who has broken records, by inviting him to the ministry. Minister Shrestha handed over a check worth Rs. seventy thousand seven hundred and thirty, which is his ministerial salary for one month.
People who climb Mount Everest are given the honor in other countries as the pride of the country, but in Nepal, they are not so interested. Sherpas have successfully climbed the world's highest peak, Mount Everest, seven times so far.
If the mountain climbers, including the record-breaking Sherpas, are discussed by the world, the image of Nepal will also be elevated in the world, with the promotion of the tourism sector.
