Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is taking steps to enhance air connectivity to urban destinations by procuring two aircraft. To this end, the national flag carrier has formed a sub-committee comprising nine members, headed by Senior Captain Sudhir Samsher Rai, tasked with submitting a report within 21 days.
The move is aimed at expanding operations to commercially viable areas that have hitherto remained out of reach due to the shortage of aircraft. According to a press release by NAC, the planned aircraft purchase will enable the corporation to operate provincial flights from Kathmandu, Biratnagar, Bhairahawa, Pokhara, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and other cities._Rss
