On the day of Monday, Aun’shi, which is celebrated in the morning without speaking, is celebrated by taking a silent bath.

There is a classical belief that if you wake up in the morning on Monday and take a bath without speaking, your wishes will be fulfilled.

Aun’shi Tithi is also considered important for Shraddha, Tarpan. It is said that it is scientifically proper for everyone who is not a mother or father to take bath in the morning on Monday. It has been a Vedic Sanatani tradition to celebrate Aun’shi which comes every month as a special festival.

Those who don't have a mother or father celebrate the Aun’shi festival with Shraddha, Tarpan, Sida Don, etc. for this reason, Aun’ shi festival is celebrated on Monday.
