Stating that the risk of the corona is increasing, the meeting of the municipal executive committee held on Friday has decided to lock down the municipal area from today to November 8. According to Meena Chand, Deputy Chief of Dasharathchanda Municipality, 18 people are actively infected in the area and the decision has been taken as the risk of corona infection is increasing in the city. He said, "The risk of coronavirus is increasing in the city area where the district headquarters is located. We have decided to lock it down to reduce the risk."
All types of long and short distance vehicles will be closed during the lockdown and vegetable and food shops will be open only from 9 am to 11 am. It has been decided to close all the functions of the municipality and ward office except the most urgent ones. During the lockdown, a pharmacy will be open and an ambulance will be available. Ward Chairman of Dasharathchanda Municipality-1 Bhuwan Raj Bhat informed that it has been decided to allow evacuation only on the recommendation of the ward office. He said, "We have made the recommendation of the ward mandatory for urgent work to reduce congestion and reduce risk."
