On the occasion of Fagu Purnima, tourism, the literary and cultural fair will be held at Chimkeswori , the highest place in Tanahun.
Mela is going to be organized by Ambukhaireni Literary Council, Chimkeswori Youth Club, and the Ambukhaireni-5 office. The municipality is the guardian of the mela. The Mela was organized with the aim of making Chimkeswori known throughout the country through literary tourism.
On the occasion of Fagu Purnima every year there is a rush of domestic tourists in Chimkeswori . People not only from Tanahun but also from neighboring districts came to worship at Chimkeswori temple on that day.
Chimkeswori is the highest place in Tanahun. Chimkeshwari, listed as one hundred and 10 tourist destinations announced by the Gandaki state government, Chimkeswori Chimkeshwari Mai and Chimkalek temple located here, aims to promote the religious and cultural customs here.
Presentation of national and local poets and writers, archery competition based on Tamu culture, spear throwing, sale and exhibition of local products, and Holi fun fair are the major attractions of the fair. According to the organizers, artists Chandra Periyar, Nischal Thapa, Kamal Sapkota, Kaharsin Thapa, Sita KC, Dilig Khanal, Simran Thapa, Santosh Bhusal, and others will perform at the fair.

Chimkeswori is located at a height of 2,134 meters above sea level. There is a religious belief that the wishes of the heart will be fulfilled after worshiping at Chimkeswori Mai Temple, which is worshiped as the sister of Gorkha Mankamana.
Out of the seven goddesses, Jhethi Budhidevimai and Maili Chimkeswori are located in Chimkeswori, while Saili Gorakhkali, Kaili Manakamnamai, Antari Ichchakamnamai, Jantari Annapurnamai, and Kanchi Akalamai can be seen from the same place. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Lamjung, Manaslu, Machhapuchhe, and other mountains can be seen from Chimkeswori.
The rural municipality has reconstructed the Chimkeswori Mai temple. A footpath and railings have been constructed to reach the Chimkeswori temple with the help of the Gandaki state government. In the year 2075-76, the construction of 486 meters of stone stairs was completed at a cost of Rs 41 lakh 63 thousand seven hundred, and in the year 2076-77, the construction of 350 meters of stone stairs and railings were completed at a cost of Rs 35 lakh 99 thousand 141.
