Kankeshwori Temple is a 184-year-old temple in the Kathmandu. The temple is dedicated to the Goddess Durga (Goddess of strength and power). Inside the temple, there is no statue and one can find tantric stones representing Chamunda, a fearsome incarnation of the goddess.In 2016 Kankeshwari became part of the UNESCO Heritage Walk, along with other historical and cultural sites from Kathmandu Durbar Square to Swayambhu .
