The international tourist arrivals seem to be picking up. Nepal used to welcome more than a million foreign tourists before the coronavirus pandemic. February of 2021 saw only above nine thousand foreign tourists, while that of 2022 was only a little better with around twenty thousand in-coming tourists. The most tourist arrivals was from our neighbour, India, while the US ranked second last month. Here are the statistics:

· Total Arrival 2023 = 73,255
· Total Arrival 2022 = 19,766
· Total Arrival 2021= 9,146
· Departure in February 2023 = 65,574
Tourist Arrivals in 2020 was 98,190 and 1,02,423 in 2019.
