In honor of Earth Day 2025, Hotel Yak & Yeti made a meaningful contribution to environmental sustainability by organizing a plantation event in its historic gardens. The event brought together members of the hotel’s executive team, staff from various departments and international in-house guests, all united by a shared dedication to sustainable practices.
Set beneath blooming jacarandas and surrounded by the hotel's lush heritage gardens, participants joined forces to plant an assortment of flowering plants and greenery. The activity was part of the hotel’s broader corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed at encouraging eco-friendly practices, enhancing natural beauty and strengthening a sense of community and collective responsibility among its team.
“This Earth Day, we wanted to not just talk about change but actively be a part of it, said a spokesperson for Hotel Yak & Yeti. At Yak & Yeti, we believe that sustainability starts with action and our gardens are a symbol of how tradition and care for nature can coexist.”
Hotel Yak & Yeti has consistently championed heritage preservation and ecological awareness. This plantation event marked yet another milestone in the hotel’s ongoing journey to set a positive example within the hospitality industry. Together, they planted the seeds for a greener future.
