Lalitpur, Nepal | 4 June 2026
The 6th Himalayan Travel Mart (HTM 2026), organised by PATA Nepal Chapter, successfully concluded its Business-to-Business (B2B) sessions on 4 June, capping four days of dialogue, networking, knowledge exchange, and international tourism engagement at The Plaza, Pulchowk.
Since its commencement on 1 June, HTM 2026 has brought together tourism stakeholders, industry leaders, buyers, sellers, media representatives, influencers, and delegates from over 27 countries, reaffirming Nepal’s position as a leading destination for tourism, investment, and international collaboration.
The final day of the event marked the second day of B2B meetings, where Nepal’s hospitality and tourism enterprises continued engaging with international buyers and delegates through scheduled business appointments, networking sessions, and partnership discussions. These interactions provided valuable opportunities to promote Nepal’s tourism products, strengthen global connections, and explore new avenues for business growth.

Building on the momentum of the Insight Forum, keynote presentations, and plenary sessions held during the opening days of the event, the B2B Mart served as a vital platform for transforming ideas into partnerships and fostering meaningful collaborations across the tourism value chain.
Throughout the event, discussions centred on tourism sustainability, adventure travel, wellness tourism, regenerative tourism, destination weddings, MICE tourism, digital innovation, and the future of travel, highlighting Nepal’s diverse offerings and commitment to responsible tourism development.
As the final meetings concluded, HTM 2026 once again demonstrated its significance as Nepal’s premier international travel and tourism trade platform, creating opportunities for long-term partnerships between local tourism businesses and global travel trade professionals.
The event will conclude with a Closing Celebration beginning at 6:30 PM at Club NOVA, Thamel, where delegates, exhibitors, buyers, media representatives, and tourism professionals will come together to celebrate the success of the 6th edition of Himalayan Travel Mart and the connections forged throughout the four-day event.
With strong international participation and productive business engagements, the formal sessions of HTM 2026 have concluded on a positive note, paving the way for future growth, collaboration, and innovation in Nepal’s tourism sector. The closing celebration will provide an opportunity for participants to reflect on the achievements of the event and strengthen relationships established during the mart.
