With the grant support of Annapurna rural municipality, a footpath with railings has been constructed from Kavre village near Andhagalchi to Bajadhunga through Rupse waterfall. Annapurna Rural Municipality allocated Rs 20 lakhs in the last fiscal year 2078-79 for the conservation and tourism development plan of Rupse Chahra under the conditional grant of the Government of Nepal.
According to the consumer committee, 400 meters of railings have been placed towards the footpaths of difficult and dangerous places. From the footpath, one can reach the Rupse waterfall along with Andhagalchhi, observing the hill topography and reaching the stone cave that makes the sound of a falcon when touched. Earlier, the road leading to Bajadhunga was narrow and dangerous. After the construction of the footpath, it is possible to travel safely.
On the top of the high mountain, looking at the stone peaks inside the cave, there are figures of Panchebaza. The voice of this figure also sounds like that of a harp. Damah, Dholak and Tamkuli shapes are visible on the peak and sounds are emitted according to the shape. The supernatural art and music of the stone is amazing.
You can also observe the Kavre village, and the Annapurna glacier, which can be seen from the Baja stone at the head of the gushing Rupse waterfall. Bajadhunga can be reached after a 30-minute walk from Kavre village. Dhaulagiri and the world's deepest gorge 'Andh Galchi' measured from the top of the Annapurna Himal, the enchanting Rupse Falls and the Baja Baja stone are in close proximity.
“A place for observation has been made by placing a railing around the hill at the head of the Rupse waterfall. The footpath has been made for the convenience of tourists going to Mustang and returning from there to observe Andhagalchhi, Rupse waterfall, and Bajadhunga.” Said Lal Bahadur Pun, Ward member.
“The Rupse waterfall flows close to this stone and the world's deepest darkness is also nearby.” He added.
“The infrastructure was built by donating labor worth Rs 2 lakh 19 thousand 478. From the Beni-Jomsom road in Kavre village, a footpath of about one kilometer has been constructed by marking the stone steps on the uphill road connecting Bajadhunga via Rupse waterfall.” Said Sunil Paiza, the chairman of the consumer committee.
“An initiative has been taken to put an informative hoarding board at the entrance of Kavre village covering all the three tourist spots,” said Sunil Paija, President of Rupse Sangam Youth Club._Rss
