With fans coming from all over the world, reaching Qatar on the Arabian Peninsula, as well as getting around once there, remains a concern. Estimates suggest that as many as half a million people may be in the country each day during the height of the competition.
Thanks to its long-distance airlines Qatar Airways, Qatar has developed into a hub for East-West travel. The airline already provides its customers with personalized flight, lodging, and ticket options. It should be noted that Qatar will not be issuing regular visas during the tournament, and anyone traveling to watch matches must have a Hayya Card issued by Qatar.
Doha offers a number of cultural attractions to explore outside of the competition. The National Museum of Qatar, the National Library of Qatar, the Mall of Qatar in Doha, beachfront resorts, and tour operators all offers excursions into Qatar’s vast desert areas, in addition to traditional shops and gift shops.
Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, Qatar has had strict regulations regarding travel and the virus, but they have been loosened as of Nov. 1. Both the PCR test and the download of Qatar’s Ehteraz contact-tracing app are no longer required prior to your visit to the country._AP news
