Chaurajahari Municipality has bought an RT-PCR machine on its own reasoning that it took a long time to receive reports of swab tests sent to other districts. With its installation and operation, even people from neighbouring Salyan, Jajarkot and Dolpa will be benefitted.

Chaurajahari Municipality has purchased an RT-PCR machine for conducting coronavirus test. The municipality bought the machine on its own reasoning that it took a long time to receive reports of swab tests sent to other districts.

Mayor Bishal Sharma informed that the installation of the PCR machine has begun. A team consisting of biometric engineers, doctors and laboratory employees from Karnali Institute of Health Science were mobilized for the installation of the machine, he added.

The health workers and municipality staffs would be employed in the laboratory. Mayor Sharma further informed that team of experts were requested to provide training to health workers at the local levels and lab technicians for the smooth operation of the laboratory.

With the installation of the PCR machine and its operation, even people from neighbouring Salyan, Jajarkot and Dolpa will be benefitted.
