Massive police mobilization has been made following the theft of the goddess crown (Mukut) made up of silver from Chinnamasta Sakhadeswori temple in Chhinnamasta rural municipality of Saptari.

The silver-made precious crown was theft at around 7.15 pm on Sunday. A team led by Chief District Officer Jayanarayan Acharya with Superintendant of Police Rajendra Prasad Dahamala and DSP Madhav Prasad Kafle reached the sire.

In order to intensify the search, the border area of the district including the temple site has been sealed off
