Kathmandu, July 16, 2025 – To mark its sixth anniversary, Aloft Kathmandu Thamel has taken a community-focused approach, partnering with the non-profit organization Aamako Ghar for a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity benefiting vulnerable groups in Nepal.
Staff from the hotel visited Aamako Ghar’s facility, which houses homeless senior citizens and children, offering a hygiene treatment program to improve the living environment. Along with this, the team donated essential supplies including fresh linen and baked goods.

The initiative aligns with the hotel’s broader commitment to socially responsible hospitality, championed by Chairman Prithvi Bahadur Pande, Managing Director Maheshwor Prakash Shrestha, and the Aloft leadership team.
Mr. Vikram Singh, General Manager of Aloft Kathmandu Thamel, shared:
“As we celebrate six years of Aloft Kathmandu Thamel, we wanted to engage with our community in a meaningful way by continuously supporting Aamako Ghar. This experience is a reminder that every small act of kindness matter.”

Founded in 1999, Aamako Ghar has provided shelter, dignity, and care to Nepal’s most vulnerable—creating a compassionate home for those with nowhere else to turn.
Looking ahead to its seventh year, Aloft Kathmandu Thamel plans to continue embracing purpose-driven hospitality with a focus on positive community impact.
