45-year-old man dies in quarantine in Gandaki

A man who had returned from India on June 26 died in quarantine centre at Divyajyoti Campus of Bardaghat Municipality-2 in Nawalparasi. He was taken to State Hospital, Butwal, for treatment after complication on his health on Saturday.

A 45-year-old man died in quarantine constructed at Divyajyoti Campus of Bardaghat Municipality-2 in Nawalparasi District (Bardaghat-Susta West) this morning.

He had returned home from Mumbai, India, on June 26 and was staying in the quarantine centre. He was suffering from high blood pressure and paralysis and was taken to State Hospital, Butwal, for treatment after complication on his health on Saturday night where he breathed his last in course of treatment, said Health section chief of Bardaghat Municipality, Madhav Gyawali.

He shared that swab of the deceased would be collected and tested to find out whether he was infected with the coronavirus.
