The country reported 2,365 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours, taking the total caseload to 292,152.

The country reported 2,365 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours, taking the total caseload to 292,152.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 252 infected ones got complete recovery in the period. So far, 276,345 infected have recovered from the COVID-19.

In the past 24 hours, Kathmandu valley alone recorded 1,174 cases including 987 in Kathmandu district, 106 in Lalitpur and 81 in Bhaktapur

Likewise, the country now has altogether 12,690 reported active cases of the coronavirus infection and 81 of them are in quarantine facilities across the country. 

According to the Ministry, five persons succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours in different parts of the country. So far, the death toll due to COVID-19 has reached 3,117 in Nepal
